Orthobionomy
What is Orthobionomy?
Orthobionomy was developed in 1976 by the osteopath Dr Arthur Pauls. It is a gentle, non-invasive system of healing that reminds the body of its natural ability to restore balance. It is based on a simple and profound philosophy: allow the body to correct itself. The hallmark of Orthobionomy is pain relief.
The therapist uses gentle movements to position the body. No forceful manipulations are used.
The Benefits of Orthobionomy
Orthobionomy is highly effective in working with acute and chronic pain as well as stress patterns, by reducing muscle tension, soothing the joints, increasing flexibility, improving circulation and relaxing the entire body.
At City Health & Massage, our experienced therapists will assess the areas that need specific attention. Once relief in that area is achieved, the therapist will work in connected and inter-related areas. Even with chronic pain conditions, a few weeks of concentrated sessions can break the cycle of symptoms.
Our therapist may use Orthobionomy on its own or in combination with other treatment modalities.
